This doesn't work for -aarm either, so I conclude that the debian
cross bootstrap mechanism is broken. Possibly because there are slind
patches that simply never made it into debian proper.
It doesn't work on glibc6-2.3.6 either for -aarm. Virtuoso you are the
expert on this I think - do you expect it to work in mainstream
debian glibc sources or not?
We need to separate the debian cross-building infrstructure problems
from any which are due to the toolchain itself. Once it works for
existing arches we can see what problems remain for new arches.
