Hi shirish, I'm all for cleaning our meta packages from software which used to exist and was maintained but ceased to do so. A good indicator is usually whether a package has been removed from upstream. Have those four packages been removed from sid? (Sometimes it makes still sense to keep them, eg if they are still developed but just lack a maintainer.) But if their development has stopped, we should remove them. Post jessie! :) cheers, Holger
