Did you see anything useful in ~/.xsession-errors?
I believe all X environments in Debian uses /etc/X11/Xsession (which
in turn uses /etc/X11/Xsession.d/), but I have not verified this with
LXDE. I know it work with KDE and Gnome.

Xsession uses run-parts, so see the manual page there for the
requirements. Perhaps your script need to have the form 99my-computer
like the other scripts there?
