[emphasis mine] And this (which I emphasied) is _exactly_ why I don't think using .po files for translating commented images will work in the general case! It should work for the network architecture _diagram_, but I have serious doubts about "annotated images" with lots of floating text (like in the rosegarden manual). And anyway, for _now_ I would like to concentrate on getting lenny out and improve the _contents_ of the documentation and not spend much time with the debian-edu-doc framework.
