I'm sorry to inform you that due to personal circumstances I will not attend 
the upcoming developers gathering after all.

To be clear, all is well and there's nothing to worry about, it just doesn't 
fit.

Thank you for your welcome and willingness to sponsor my travel, I'm sure 
you'd put the amount saved into good use and I hope to meet you all on 
another occasion.
