Since the major problem seems to be backscatter, we can pretty easily
more rules to handle most of it.
I personally don't subscribe to debian-edu@l.d.o, so I haven't been
paying attention to it or its issues, but rules to address the
backscatter problem are definetly accepted. [And if no one bothers to
do so, I'll try to take a look at the previous month's collection of
messages and try to put rules in place to fix the majority of the
problem.]
That said, if the subscribers to debian-edu@l.d.o actually want to
make it moderated and enough active people are willing to moderate, I
don't have a problem with it becoming moderated. [I just know that
keeping moderated lists moderated requires a fair bit of effort.]
