lp_server had copyright issues that made it inaprpopriate for inclusion
in debian.

however, "jetpipe" was written to replace it, and is included in the
version of ltsp included with debian-edu (etch). i don't remember the
exact way to enable it...

drop a code snippet into /etc/X11/Xsession.d on your server.
