Then they have to fire teachers, as they have done in many municipalities and 
city councils. The schools executive responsible in the city of Elverum 
recommended the schools to use Windows instead of Skolelinux - that stops the 
potential cost savings on 741.000 EURO for investments, and further savings 
with operating the networks at the schools.  He also recommended to cut 16 
teachers positions for 988.000 EURO.  So when using the most expensive 
computer soulution teachers has to go. 

Unfortunately this stories is in Norwegian, but it probably the same situation 
in the other Nordic countries:
