| It's not allowed in .debs, only in debian/control. dpkg doesn't support
| [arch], and it's not allowed by policy.

Could you please clarify? Sounds like there's some important info I have
missed and may need to correct for lessdisks (and if so, we should
probably split this bug and tie it to lessdisks as well).

| /mirror/pool/main/l/lessdisks/lessdisks_0.5.3cvs.20040906-3_all.deb:
[cut]
| Where?

Here (sorry for not clarifying: I meant the lessdisks _source_ package):

| Package: kernel-image-netbootable
| Architecture: all
| Pre-Depends: initrd-netboot-tools
| Depends: kernel-image-2.4-386[i386] | kernel-image-2.4-generic[alpha]
| kernel-image-2.6-386[i386] | kernel-image-2.6-generic[alpha] |
kernel-image[!i386,alpha] | kernel-image-netboot
| Suggests: mknbi[i386], aboot[alpha], mkvmlinuz[powerpc]
| Description: net-bootable kernel for use with diskless systems

Is that somehow illegal?

Or is it a different situation than with education-common?
