Re: feedback wanted for new devanagari font

Hi Pavi,

Thank you for your feedback,

The project has been renamed to Sumana Devanagari,
since the vertical metrics in Lora Devanagari and Lora are different,
and will continue to develop under this repo:

https://github.com/cyrealtype/Sumana-Devanagari

Have you managed to solve the PDF rendering issue?

The font looks nice but the PDF shows some standard bugs regarding
when two or three characters combine especially in the case of
consonants + vowels. So the text in the PDF is basically readable but
not comprehensible due to the ordering.
I think these issues were there long time in pango rendering and were
solved. I am not sure maybe praveen could add more clarity.

Thanks for the feedback.

Perhaps then try install the actual font files and test their rendering
with up-to-date Pango (or other glyph rendering engines)?
