Bug#275243: dpkg-dev: warning about unknown control field does not reveal name of field
Package: dpkg-dev
Version: 1.10.23
Severity: normal
When building a package that has an Enhances field in the control file,
dpkg-buildpackge prints out the following:
dpkg-source: warning: unknown information field in input data in package's section of control info file
There are two spaces between "field" and "in"; probably the name of the
unknown field was supposed to go there, but doesn't show up in the
current version.
To reproduce, get the source (apt-get source) for the package abook or
adzapper and run dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot. (I have nothing to do with
these packages; they are just a way to reproduce the problem that is
better than me sending my stuff around.)
