Bug#228125: another case of silently removing Depends: info
It appears that if the Depends: line in debian/control
is syntactically incorrect, dpkg-gencontrol will silently
remove the Depends: line when it creates DEBIAN/control.
In my case, the line looked like this:
Depends: ${shlibs:Depends}, libpfm2 [ia64]
The '[ia64]' is not allowed there, and the Depends: line
never made it to DEBIAN/control. If I remove the '[ia64]'
part, everything works as it should.
