OK. You know the old debian-tutorial? Last year I start with a translation. It was and is a very very poor translation, with a lot of errors and mistakes. In the time of the first beta of my german debian-tutorial, John Goerzen and Ossama Othman make the Debian Guide. This Debian-Guide combine the install guide and this debian-tutorial. After this, Havoc Pennington stopt the development of the debian-tutorial. Now I have combine the german debian-tutorial with the german install guide to a german Debian Guide too. But the quality is very bad. You can download a (old) pdf-Version from http://master.debian.org/~grisu/ I have add some chapter and section and I make some updates. I can mail the tex-sources to you, if you can help with it. If you have questions, mail.
