We can even translate Bash scripts, as bash has native support for gettext
for some time now!!!
But you need gettext to create the .po files, and gettext is not included in
main because the maintainer asked not to spread it widely :(
And this, although gettext is on *some* (unofficial) CD's and available via
ftp...
