And that one sums up the whole problem. Take a step back, read what you wrote. Then read your initial mail. What you describe here and what you did is *not* the same.

You did not initially "send a reminder" to review MRs. That would have been something along "Hey people, there are so many open MRs, before you upload, please include a check if your package repository contains one or more. Should your workflow not be optimized for it consider dealing with those that you got and then disabling them, if need be. But maybe you find that they are a useful tool."

What you send is a manager-style command: "There may be MRs, remember to check them before you upload!".

And since then you insist on the latter being the right thing, because you seemingly can not fathom that there are people who may not like the MR workflow. They must be wrong, they can not have a good reason for that, so bully them into accepting them anyways.

And you managed to even piss off rra with your insistence, that ought to be the last warning signal that the chosen way is wrong.


So please, to repeat my first line: Take a step back. And possibly have a restart on this.
