No I don't. It emails me. I have no need to open it periodically. But
if I did, just be aware that it supports queries so I could bookmark
queries that are useful to me and see everything at once.

It is optional but there is a lot of pressure to make it compulsory.
And all team maintained packages are on salsa.

Teams are just set up that way.
Deciding to use salsa and spending a lot of time to change all those
checkboxes for every package are not the same thing. The decision to
use salsa is just to allow nmus and hope they will sync git. Using
anything else makes sure this will not happen. So it's not a choice in
most cases.

I don't understand. Why should I jump through the arbitrary hoops of
every person that maybe perhaps might occasionally feel like they want
to contribute? Why is their time more valuable than mine?
