That doesn't make a lot of sense. jessie-updates sits on top of (predictably enough) Jessie and won't contain anything relevant for unstable that isn't already in unstable anyway.
Of course, it seems it's just left in there after some upgrades... But it does not make any change either :) just removed it and everything is still the same.
