As a DD, you should always use a clean chroot to build everything. It's not like it's something difficult to do. apt-get install cowbuilder ; pbuilder create --distribution sid. schroot would be another option. -- Each module should do one thing well. - The Elements of Programming Style (Kernighan & Plauger)
