Not every RC bug fixing means an upload from that developer.
And not all work in trying to help RC bug fixing is actually
sucessfull. And testing is usually more about RC bug filing than
RC bug fixing.

I can only say that I usually have a much lower upload frequency
while freeze, which with one specific package less might even be
a total stall while most past freeze times. And I would not call
myself "lost" due to that. A freeze is a significantly different
phase, especially as my upstream development is usually heavily
synced to Debian development, but if I am annoyed at something
in that phase, then it is about people whining that they are not
allowed to ignore or even sabotage the release process.
