In that case, whatever d-i does for UI, it needs to warn folks that it may be necessary to do a "dpkg-reconfigure tzdata" after the install, if they care about getting the details exactly right of that week in 2006 when Australia hosted the Commonwealth Games.

Call us crazy if you like, but some of us do care.
