I grabbed the data since December 2009 (the file linked as "was
popularity-contest results" on http://popcon.ubuntu.com/). If that is
enough for your purposes, I can make it available.
I also filed a bug on Launchpad [1] to make graphs and historic data
available, but got no response so far.
