Package: wnpp Severity: normal Hi, I am offering 'dares' for adoption, since I am already ignoring it for too long. The package does: Dares scans a CD/DVD image or a CD/DVD for files. This also works when the filesystem (ISO-9660 or UDF) on the disc is damaged and cannot be mounted anymore. This tool has never seen any upstream release since I packaged it for Debian and is getting old. Both the software itself as well as the packaging are really simple. There are currently two open bugs. The popcon count is 230 -- not too low, so maybe someone wants to take care of this package in the future. Otherwise I would orphan it in a couple of weeks. Since it seems to be upstream dead, completely removing it from the archive might the most viable option. If you want to take over just take what is currently in the archive and upload a new version.
