Dear Charles, the release managers *will* drop mips/mipsel/whatever from
testing *when* it becomes a release blocking bottleneck. However with
463 RC bugs in testing, it is clear that dropping architectures
is unlikely to make the release happen faster.

If you want to positively influence the RM team to remove mips(el), the
best way is to fix RC bugs. It will make the release happen faster,
bringing the moment when RM team needs to choose what architectures
are going to be released. It will also move you from the "whiners"
group to the "doers" group, making it more likely that people act
on your demands.
