Re: Requesting advice regarding creating a custom Debian distribution



Hi, upfront: Bernd's earlier reply on DSL is probably the best advice.
Just in case that there is some misunderstanding....

Would you be prepared to package the lacking software yourself for Debian? 
Then please prepare ITP announements, RFP otherwise. The Debian Mentors FAQ 
gives some direction in this issues

Well, this makes sense to me. You can have a second repository from
which you can maintain Debian packages outside of Debian.

Look for Damn Small Linux. You can still fork from there.
