That's a bit unfair to Heimdal given that their GSSAPI library predates
the UMich library by many years.

This may work.  They both implement the same standard.  Although they're
not *fully* ABI-compatible, since Heimdal exposes some additional symbols
that are useful for users who are doing Kerberos, so it probably won't
work as-is.
