I suppose that changes are posted somewhere (debian-www?) so "accidents" should be easy to avoid/revert. What would be the risks? A commit/revert war like the one we recently had on the wiki? How were things working in the debian-glibc CVS? Did accidents or hot discussions hapen because of the very opened commit access?
