It's interesting that you bring this up because in the pkg-perl team
there were discussions about "doing it the pk-ruby way" (but up to
now almost everybody disliked the idea).

In fact usually it's Maintainer: <the list>, Uploaders: <list of people
who have touched the package>. Cf.
