I just imagined someone doing

# dpkg-reconfigure exim4
# 

compared to 

# dpkg-reconfigure exim4

Please use dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config instead!
# 

However, although this looks simple and short, it doesn't take into
account the various possible ways to access debconf, and it won't work
at all if a package manager has a "reconfigure this package" button.
