Yeah, and privately setting Reply-To to the list is almost as bad as when the 
list manager software does it. It's a pity that most MUAs don't have a 
separate follow-up command either (for everyone's information, Mutt has one - 
press L to reply to list). IMHO, the best policy still is not to CC the 
author unless he asks for it.
