arch-dir of ruby1.8/1.9 was changed to i486-linux from i386-linux
Dear Ruby users
I uploaded ruby1.8_1.8.2-9 and ruby1.9_1.9.0+20050623-2 to Debian.
In this release for ix86, arch-name of ruby1.8/1.9 was changed to
/usr/lib/ruby/1.[89]/i486-linux from /usr/lib/ruby/1.[89]/i386-linux.

- <URL:http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=315566>
New $LOAD_PATH is:
/usr/local/lib/site_ruby/1.[89]
/usr/local/lib/site_ruby/1.[89]/i486-linux
/usr/local/lib/site_ruby/1.[89]/i386-linux
/usr/local/lib/site_ruby
/usr/lib/ruby/1.[89]
/usr/lib/ruby/1.[89]/i486-linux
/usr/lib/ruby/1.[89]/i386-linux
.
"/usr/local/lib/site_ruby/1.[89]/i386-linux" and
"/usr/lib/ruby/1.[89]/i386-linux" is temporally added for transition.
I will remove them at one or two month later.
If you locally build extension libraries,
please rebuild it with new ruby1.[89]-dev package.
And if you are maintaining packages which have extension libraries,
please rebuild and upload it to Debian.
Thank you
