I hope you remember well that SCC=ports.d.o doesn't mean that some arch
will become a non-release-arch, but just that the mirrors are split into
full mirrors and "basic mirrors" that contain only the most often
downloaded architectures.

And it was said more than once that this is a pre-condition for adding
amd64 because of the size of the daily mirror push.
