Great. There are three different, not API compatible SRS libraries.
http://www.libsrs2.org/ http://www.libsrs.org/ and srs_alt
http://srs.mirtol.com/.

The obvious technical difference is that both srs_alt and libsrs
require and link against openssl (just for sha1 hmac.), while libsrs2
is self contained, also srs_alt is GPL only, the other two iirc are
BSD-like licensed.
