A simple > PHP or CGI script should be able to do the trick. i think it's more than trivial if you're going to do it the Right Way. you need to ensure that all the information is entered and properly formatted, and provide the "target" users with help when it isn't. providing some kind of mail ping would be worthwhile too, so that the user has to confirm (either by replying to an address specially for this purpose, or clicking on a link to another cgi with a per-bug identifier) the report before it's actually submitted. also, what would probably be just as helpful (or perhaps even more) would be if reportbug added a menu entry on the debian desktop under "help" to "report a bug" (currently, it's in system->reportbug) sean
