Re: Apt and rsync... I know...
Some people with slow and/or expensive connections routinely
download only the .dsc and .diff files for updates and rebuild the
package. The rationale is that updates typically occur much more
frequently than new upstream versions.
Since this is not presently supported by apt, it requires more
effort on the part of the user.
