What they need, is _one_ enterprise server. That is an operating system that has features like distributed file-systems, high-availability facilities, system health monitoring and CPU-hotplugging ;-) When such a system is available, then having a "fileserver flavor" is just a matter of typing "apt-get install samba". So what I (and my clients) need is an operating system for the real big boxen. This is of course Debian but I expect of Debian Enterprise to bring me an install CD that will let me setup such a system just like I would setup my small desktop computer with a standard woody CD.
