The diagram <http://www.mozilla.org/roadmap/branching-2003-10-02.png> is
pretty instructive. Compare it to the actual events.
I don't know much about the current structure of the Mozilla project,
but tend to assume that Debian is still more amorphous. I'm not even
sure if the project is better off with strict adherence to the
equivalent of a long-term business plan.
