He definitely has turned up real bugs before, at least on the gnu bug
reporting lists. Often they're odd (but real) little corner cases that
no one has thought worth reporting before, but I'm pretty sure I've seen
real honest-to-god problems too.
I find his reports kind of amusing, but then they're a lot easier to
ignore on a mailing list than in a BTS...
