That's your problem, no /usr/bin/kpsetool

You'll need your old tetex-bin installed to. kpsetool is in that.
(Alternatively, the 2.0 tetex-bin and 2.0 libkpathsea3 would do it, but
you can't install 'em until you've gotten rid of jtex-bin...)

jtex-bin depends on tetex-bin, so I'm guessing you've overridden the
dependancy at some point...
