Actually, I didn't know that the buildds could work with testing, either.
Early on in the establishment of the new system, I had gotten an impression
that it has been hard enough to get enough machines running stable, let
alone testing chroots and/or whatever else is necessary.
And while I agree that m2 is pointlessly restating the obvious flaws in
"testing", I wouldn't blame him for not being informed about this, because
it's not been publicized appropriately. I don't remember seeing anything on
-devel-announce about it, and the developers' reference only tangentially
mentions testing in the security bug upload procedure, and I certainly
didn't get the impression that one can freely upload their stuff from
reading that section.
