Well, it uses debconf. And if you set DEBIAN_FRONTEND=noninteractive
(I really need to test that) you'll end up with

is delivered.

But I would not say the configuration is _really_ usable without
answering any questions, exim does no deliveries as root and
therefore needs postmaster/root aliased to a non-root user to which
error messages are sent.
