Java Plugin with Mozilla after GCC 3.2 transition
I don't know what's been done about this problem in Debian, and we're
not far enough along to have actualy symptoms, but 6 months ago when I
used Mandrake, and Mozilla 1.0 was released, a lot of mandrake users
found that Mozilla 1.0 broke the Java plugin, and that breakage was
attributable to their transition to GCC 3.1
Since we don't seem to have used GCC 3.1 in Debian, we're probably about
to run into the same problem here, since we're upgrading to that point
for the first time.

Chances are, this really means there will be a total breakage of support
for closed-source browser plugins (which can't be recompled for GCC
3.2).
