Hmm...

This didn't happen on my existing GNOME 2 testing account when I 
installed desktop-base. I guess you have to create the account after the 
desktop-base package is installed.

In other news, I snagged the blue Debian swirl image from the 
desktop-base package and composed a WindowMaker theme for it. It is 
somewhat similar to the recent theme I built from Ayo's work. However 
since WindowMaker has a strange image path setup I have placed the 
blue-swirl image and a tile in the theme directly to avoid problems. You 
can check them out here:
