I'm not a PGI developer, however I do a substantial amount of work
around autoinstall in my job these days.  I've had the pleasure of
making sure hardware that isn't in 'Free' software is supported in our
installer at work.

I would install the discover-data package, take a look at
/usr/share/discover/pci.lst, the lines with video as the second field
should display which video cards are supported.

If you have a supported card not in the list, I would bug the
discover-data package with the information.
