Not giving out email addresses makes it impossible to take discussions off list, which is frequently a useful thing to do, trivially. If there're people out there that abuse that privelege, take it up with *them*, don't make it difficult for me to work on Debian in the hopes that it'll annoy them too. Just face it, if you're giving out your address to strangers by posting to public mailing lists, it's public knowledge already, and it's too late to hide it.
