Uh, and make devscripts depend on Emacs? Just as dpkg-dev-el was
split out of dpkg-dev for that reason, I think it'd be more reasonable
to keep Elisp files out of devscripts. I hope you'll consider just
adding a Suggests: (or Recommends:) on devscripts-el. I just proposed
Junichi that we co-maintain one source package which would result in
several binaries, including devscripts-el and dpkg-dev-el, since there
is some common code between those two packages.
