Perhaps using the code from current debian/config in postinst
would solve this but I wonder what would happen if I try to
dpkg-reconfigure?  Isn't the config script necessary here or did
I missunderstood something?

By the way: What is *the right way* (tm) to purge debconf data of
one single package from the debconf database.  I would like to get
rid of my privat method to just move my whole debconf database to
a backup location, do some developing/working/testing with the
package in question and after this copy back the backup.  I'm sure
there is a better solution to "start from scratch for testing purpose".
