Do it for the entire camera group, please.  I often do stuff from somewhere
else, and I could simply ask my mother to plug the camera to the black cable
with a CAMERA GOES HERE label, and do my work remotely...

If you can have both, and use a conffile to select which behaviour the
system should have, that would be even better.

Yeah... I noticed that when I first used gphoto2 (worked very nicely, btw.
Thank you for packaging it!), and had to do it as root.
