Description : A Multimedia Audio Jukebox application.
irmp3 is a Multimedia Audio Jukebox application. With irmp3 you
can control mpg321 (currently, support for other players is
planned) to play songs, lists, directories.
.
irmp3 features 'environments' that you can set to play a certain
type of music, alarms, can be controlled over the network, via
remote control (requires LIRC) and a number of other useful
features, including LCD display and keypad input support via
LCDProc. It is most useful for those building MP3 jukeboxes
with remote or keypad controls.
.
This package has mod_save compiled in, an irmp3 module written by
this humble packager that allows irmp3 to save the song (or list)
and time where the last song or list was played, so that when it's
restarted it will start playing exactly from that point.
I am applying for Debian Developer, but Paul Cannon <pik@debian.org>
is willing to do a NMU for this package.
