First, you butchered the quote, editing it in such a way that the sentence
implies "Debian must be stopped".  

Second, reading the *whole* post, what Eduard said was very level, and not
at all alarmist.  The point being made is that the current system doesn't
scale well, something which I don't think anyone denies.
