As others pointed out, this functionality could be integrated into cal.
You already have a pair cal/ncal with ncal providing extended options like:
- display date of esater
- dispaly julian days
- print switching days from Julian to Gregorian calendar
...
Why not adding a --flow option to cal/ncal? Users always prefer to have various functionalities related to the same theme grouped into one single binary. It annoys me to have to download and install links _and_ links-ssl for example, or mutt _and_ mutt-utf8 (btw, did you know the existence of mutt-utf8 ? probably not, because it's in a different package), etc...
